In collaboration with clothing line Rowena Sartin (Kristin Dickson-Okuda, LA): a new silhouette that combines Building Block’s approach to shape and object with Rowena Sartin’s manipulation of function and form.

Building Block’s signature geometry and hard edge contours are pushed towards a more diminutive, classically feminine scale in this study. The shoulder chain detaches and can be worn separately, as a necklace. With this additional function, the bag becomes less of a carryall and points to the depiction of a purse as decorative adornment.
